Five Minute Call, a comedy web series set backstage of a big musical that he produced, co-wrote and co-starred in with Helen Dallimore will premiere in 2023. His countless screen credits range from The Devil’s Playground (1976 AFI Best Actor Award) to Devil’s Playground (Executive Producer/lead actor – 2015 AACTA and Logie Awards Best Mini-Series), and 25 years as one of ABCTV’s favourite Play School presenters. Other stage credits include three Wharf Revues, Mary Stuart (STC), The Homosexuals (Griffin), The Misanthrope (Bell Shakespeare), Noises Off (MTC). Australian musical theatre credits include Marius ( Les Misérables – original Australian cast), Billy ( Anything Goes, Green Room Award Best Actor – Musical), Billy ( Chicago), Mr Banks ( Mary Poppins), Edna ( Hairspray), Bill Clinton ( Clinton The Musical) Frank Snr ( Catch Me if You Can), Charlemagne ( Pippin). He has starred in London’s West End as Captain von Trapp ( The Sound of Music), Raoul ( The Phantom of the Opera), Carl-Magnus ( A Little Night Music with Dame Judi Dench), Georges ( La Cage Aux Folles with John Barrowman) and in the UK premiere of Holding the Man. Simon won the 2022 Sydney Theatre Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his performance Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Screen credits include Wentworth, Winners and Losers, The Frontier, The Doctor Blake Mysteries and Neighbours. She performed the national anthem at the Australia Open and the State of Origin. She’s released the albums Jazz and the Silver Screen with Hook Turn Orchestra and her original music with Alinta and the Jazz Emperors, titled I Got You. Alinta is a concert performer and songwriter.

Other stage credits include Petra in A Little Night Music for Victorian Opera, Mamma Mia!, Mickey in Leader of the Pack (Green Room Award), Dusty: The Original Pop Diva, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Demeter in Cats, Alice in Closer, Mary Poppins for Free Rain Theatre and the Netherlands season of Dirty Dancing. She performed alongside Hugh Jackman in his Broadway to Oz tour and was a fixture on The Production Company stage, playing Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Magnolia in Show Boat, Kathy Selden in Singin’ in the Rain, Svetlana in Chess (Green Room Award), Niki Harris in Curtains and Sibella Hallward in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. She recently starred as Velma Kelly in Chicago and Anita in West Side Story (2010), which saw her nominated for several awards, including a Helpmann, Green Room and Sydney Theatre Award, and won the Australian Dance Award for Most Outstanding Performance.
